
Astra LT together with its partners UAB Aksonas, UAB Aumega, UAB Nordic Stainless Steel Tanks LT, MB Išmanūs inžineriniai sprendimai and UAB Termosnaigė & Co. have formed a cluster “Food Technologies Digitalization LT” (FTD LT), which is looking for new opportunities in the development of technologies for liquid and loose food products. The project “Development of export markets and strengthening of internationalisation of the FTD LT cluster” is implemented under the Progress Facility of the European Union Funds for the period 2021-2027, Development Programme 2022-2030.

The aim of the project is to promote the international competitiveness and development of the export-oriented FTD LT cluster.
The main activities of the FTD LT cluster are: application of new technologies (Industry 4.0, etc.), better access to international markets and networks, focus on new export markets.
The FTD LT cluster aims to increase the horizontal and vertical integration of digitalisation of technology in the food sector; to increase the production and export of high value-added digital technology products for the food industry; to create the preconditions for increasing the international competitiveness of the cluster’s members and for the technological digitalisation of the food production.
The project activities are aimed at strengthening the FTD LT cluster operating in the Central and Western region of Lithuania, promoting its internationalisation, including membership of international networks, increasing the visibility of the cluster and its products, searching for new export markets and expanding the existing markets.
The project includes strategies and actions to increase the cluster’s international visibility, strengthen its brand, improve cooperation between companies and effectively exploit the FTD LT cluster’s potential for export activities.
The successful implementation of the project will undoubtedly result in the development of an effective strategy and tools that will stimulate the involvement of exporting members of the FTD LT cluster in international network chains and strengthen their position in these chains.
