FTD LT Cluster’s EXPO Group companies UAB Termosnaigė ir Ko and Astra LT AB have embarked on a strategic collaboration to fulfill a custom order for a Finnish brewery, delivering a highly insulated beer fermentation tank specifically engineered for northern climate conditions. The partnership leverages UAB Termosnaigė ir Ko expertise in thermal insulation technologies alongside Astra LT AB advanced stainless steel manufacturing capabilities, aiming to set new standards in brewery equipment designed for harsh environmental conditions.
The tailored fermentation tank is designed to withstand the unique challenges presented by Finland’s cold climate, ensuring stable internal temperatures for optimal fermentation even during extreme weather. This insulation innovation will enable the brewery to maintain precise control over the fermentation process, critical for consistent product quality and operational efficiency.
The project involves the integration of high-performance insulation materials into the fermentation tank, capable of retaining heat efficiently and reducing energy consumption associated with maintaining optimal temperatures. With extensive experience in thermal technology, FTD LT Cluster’s EXPO Group member UAB Termosnaigė ir Ko is responsible for the tank’s insulation design, while its fellow EXPO Group member Astra LT AB oversees the stainless steel structure’s fabrication, ensuring a seamless and durable solution.
The development of this fermentation tank aligns with Food Technology Digitalization LT Cluster’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.
