As part of the FTD LT Cluster’s EXPO Group initiative, Astra LT AB is taking a prominent role in exporting Lithuanian industrial expertise to the Nordic market, recently securing a contract to manufacture two exclusive 27-cubic-meter stainless steel tanks for a leading Finnish dairy producer. These advanced tanks are tailored for temperature-sensitive dairy storage, incorporating a unique cooling system that regulates temperature along the tank base, cylindrical body, and internal mixer, ensuring optimal preservation and quality during processing. Developed with Astra LT AB high-precision, automated welding technology, these tanks can be produced two to three times faster than with traditional welding methods, providing an efficient, high-quality solution for the Finnish market. The technology and methods utilized in this project align with the FTD LT Cluster EXPO Group’s objectives of driving innovation and enhancing global competitiveness for its members.
