Astra LT AB, a key member of the FTD LT Cluster’s EXPO Group, continues to strengthen its presence in the food and beverage industry by manufacturing a high-capacity 311 m³ alcohol storage tank for Vilniaus Degtinė, one of Lithuania’s leading spirits producers. This state-of-the-art tank will serve as a central storage unit for pure alcohol, playing a critical role in the production of various spirit-based products.
Given the volatile nature of high-proof alcohol, the design and construction of this tank incorporate the latest safety and explosion prevention technologies. Astra LT AB applied advanced engineering solutions to ensure the highest level of safety, leak prevention, and fire resistance. The tank is equipped with specialized containment systems that regulate pressure and eliminate any risks associated with alcohol vapor accumulation.
Additionally, high-precision welding and automated production processes were employed to guarantee the structural integrity of the storage tank, meeting strict industry regulations for flammable liquid containment.
